I am impressed with this item's quality for the price that I paid. I also like the fact that I don't have to use m y computer to upload the pictures, I could use an SD card if I wanted to, so it's nice to know I have options in case I need a Plan B. I would suggest putting a thicker piece of paper behind pictures to scan because occasionally the brightness of the scanner takes away from the pictures. The scans were sharp, clear, and they looked like there were very high quality once I uploaded them on to my computer. I thought it worked rather quickly, I was able to get through over 100 slides in an hour. I was able to figure it out just by playing with it for a couple of minutes. The instructions were a little difficult to understand, but the scanner itself is extremely easy to use.
This Ion PICS2SD was exactly what I needed to digitize all of the photos from the past. Over the years I have accumulated thousands of photos between my travels and family milestones being documented. A Great Piece of Equipment For A Great Price!
